Ugh! I love Spring Cleaning. I'm getting rid of a whole mess of things that I hardley even look at anymore. So far I've sold a gold necklace that I bought for my senior prom and have worn maybe twice. Why should it sit and collect dust when someone else will get more use out of it? That and I don't want to move anywhere with a whole mess of stuff that we don't even use anymore. Why bother right? Oh man I feel better though! Phew! That's one more thing off my mind right now and once I send it out tomorrow it'll be out of my hands for good.
Other things I'm giving up and letting go of (oh, my pack rat fingers are twitching right now) are my snowboard (bindings, boots and all), some cameras and some prom dresses. Why I still have those dresses is beyond me. When would I ever wear them again? Meh, at least it's prom season and some girl out there will get a pretty dress for cheap.
I honestly think I'm in the middle of nesting right now. I just want all our stuff in the basement packed according to what room it belongs in, I want to get rid of all the stuff we don't use and I just want the room clean. Other than that the only other thing I'm obsessing about right now is if I've made a sale on etsy or not. I swear I check that site at least 5 times a day. I have to pry my fingers away from the computer for me to get anything productive done. Helps with Malachi though, he usually gets into something or yells at me for my attention and then I forget all about it for a little bit....that is, until it pops back into mind.
Man, oh, man...I'm a mess. Haha. Well, today I've been feeling pretty productive. I finished my book that I've been reading for my other business, I have a quick 10 minute meeting tonight and I'm working on some hemp necklaces. I'm pretty excited about these though. I came up with them about a year ago after I discovered the local bead shop downtown when we lived in Montpelier. They're adjustable and the strings give some pretty decoration in back which make them perfect to wear with a tank top or a pretty sundress. I was thinking about how summer's comming up and that I should probably get on that bandwagon and make some things that would be lots of fun.
I feel like it's easier living on the Cape to have a more sunny disposition. My color choices seem pretty dependent on my mood at the time. Looking at some of the hemp necklaces that I made in Montpelier I must have been feeling pretty drab in comparison with the necklaces I've made while here on the Cape. Maybe it's the influence of the ocean....

BEAUTIFUL necklace! I actually like it and I am a hard person to please - you should sell a bunch once warmer weather hits! Good luck!
Thanks! I'm making some more and hope to have those up and ready for sale by the end of the night. This one, specifically was stolen while I had them for sale at my old middle school but I'm planning on making some more of the flower charms to play around with.
I'll post some more pictures on here later of what I come up with.
